Using the Just One Look Method

I like to give this practice of looking a lot of sustained effort, if I may use that word. It seems like it is my choice to give it everything I've got but I wonder if maybe that's just an illusion. I wonder if the practice is really the thing that's in charge and there is just an idea that somebody is doing it. I say this because there doesn't seem to be an option to stop nor was there really an option to START, in the first place.

There is no need to wrestle with this matter. It is entirely beside the point whether the appearance of choice is real or imaginary; the fact is that the presence of clear and firm intention is all that's needed no matter from where and by what means it has appeared. If you cannot stop the looking you are already on the way home.
